Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC01785 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 9 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC01785’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where LINC01785 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC01785 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, KICH, and LUSC are the cancer types where LINC01785 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
