Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC01735 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC01735’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where LINC01735 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC01735 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as COAD and BRCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

COAD, BRCA, and LUAD are the cancer types where LINC01735 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
