Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC01673 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC01673’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where LINC01673 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC01673 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, KICH, and LUSC are the cancer types where LINC01673 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
