Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC01517 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LINC01517 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher LINC01517 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LINC01517 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and BLCA show a favorable association.

SKCM, BRCA, and CESC are the cancer types where LINC01517 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
