Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC01345 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC01345’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where LINC01345 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC01345 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BLCA and PRAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BLCA, PRAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where LINC01345 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
