Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC01163 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 8 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC01163’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where LINC01163 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC01163 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

UCEC, BRCA, and STAD are the cancer types where LINC01163 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
