Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC01098 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LINC01098 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher LINC01098 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LINC01098 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and LUSC show a favorable association.
KIRC, LIHC, and BRCA are the cancer types where LINC01098 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
