Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC00857 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LINC00857 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher LINC00857 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LINC00857 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and UCS show a favorable association.

KIRP, LUAD, and PAAD are the cancer types where LINC00857 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
