Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC00525 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LINC00525 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher LINC00525 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LINC00525 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and COAD show a favorable association.

KIRP, SKCM, and KIRC are the cancer types where LINC00525 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
