Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC00492 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LINC00492 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher LINC00492 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LINC00492 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and THYM show a favorable association.

KICH, DLBC, and COAD are the cancer types where LINC00492 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
