Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC00415 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC00415’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where LINC00415 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC00415 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KIRC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, KIRC, and COAD are the cancer types where LINC00415 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
