Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LIN37 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LIN37 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher LIN37 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LIN37 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and GBM show a favorable association.
UCEC, OV, and LUAD are the cancer types where LIN37 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
