Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LIN28A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LIN28A data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher LIN28A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LIN28A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SARC, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where LIN28A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
