Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LIG1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LIG1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PCPG), where higher LIG1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LIG1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
PCPG, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where LIG1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
