Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LHX9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LHX9 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher LHX9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LHX9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, SCLC, and LUSC are the cancer types where LHX9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
