Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LGALS9C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LGALS9C data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher LGALS9C Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LGALS9C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
THYM and LUSC are the cancer types where LGALS9C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
