Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LGALS14 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LGALS14 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher LGALS14 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LGALS14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
PRAD are the cancer types where LGALS14 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
