Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LEPROT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LEPROT data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher LEPROT Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LEPROT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and PRAD are the cancer types where LEPROT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
