Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LDHAL6DP RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LDHAL6DP’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where LDHAL6DP RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LDHAL6DP is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LIHC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LIHC are the cancer types where LDHAL6DP tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
