LDB3

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LDB3 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 15 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LDB3’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where LDB3 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LDB3 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BLCA and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

BLCA, THCA, and COAD are the cancer types where LDB3 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
