Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LCTL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LCTL data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher LCTL Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LCTL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and UCEC show a favorable association.

KIRP, OV, and UCEC are the cancer types where LCTL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
