Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LCE2B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LCE2B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where LCE2B RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LCE2B is over-expressed in tumor.
LUSC are the cancer types where LCE2B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
