Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LBP RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LBP data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher LBP RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LBP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and COAD show a favorable association.
STAD, KIRP, and KIRC are the cancer types where LBP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
