Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LATS2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LATS2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher LATS2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LATS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.
BRCA, MESO, and COAD are the cancer types where LATS2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
