Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LARP7P2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LARP7P2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where LARP7P2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LARP7P2 is over-expressed in tumor.
KIRP are the cancer types where LARP7P2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
