Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LAMTOR3P2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LAMTOR3P2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where LAMTOR3P2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LAMTOR3P2 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as READ and STAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LUAD, READ, and STAD are the cancer types where LAMTOR3P2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
