Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LAMP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LAMP2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher LAMP2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LAMP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and LUSC are the cancer types where LAMP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
