Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LACTB2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LACTB2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher LACTB2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LACTB2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, LUSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where LACTB2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
