Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KYAT1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KYAT1 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher KYAT1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KYAT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and KIRC show a favorable association.
ACC, COAD, and LGG are the cancer types where KYAT1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
