Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP8-3P RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP8-3P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher KRTAP8-3P RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP8-3P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

KIRC, STAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where KRTAP8-3P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
