Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP6-2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP6-2 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher KRTAP6-2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP6-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and ESCA show a favorable association.

HNSC, STAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where KRTAP6-2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
