Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP5-10 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP5-10 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher KRTAP5-10 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP5-10 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and BLCA show a favorable association.
CESC, BLCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where KRTAP5-10 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
