Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP4-9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KRTAP4-9 data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher KRTAP4-9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP4-9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
COAD and SKCM are the cancer types where KRTAP4-9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
