Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP4-8 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP4-8 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher KRTAP4-8 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP4-8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and SCLC show a favorable association.

ACC, KIRC, and LIHC are the cancer types where KRTAP4-8 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
