Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP4-8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KRTAP4-8 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher KRTAP4-8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP4-8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC show a favorable association.
UCEC, SKCM, and TGCT are the cancer types where KRTAP4-8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
