Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP4-7 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP4-7 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher KRTAP4-7 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP4-7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and LUAD show a favorable association.

SKCM, LIHC, and LAML are the cancer types where KRTAP4-7 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
