Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP4-12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KRTAP4-12 data layer compared with 14 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher KRTAP4-12 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP4-12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, LUAD, and CESC are the cancer types where KRTAP4-12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
