Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP29-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP29-1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher KRTAP29-1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP29-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and BLCA show a favorable association.

CESC, UCS, and BLCA are the cancer types where KRTAP29-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
