Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP21-2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KRTAP21-2 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher KRTAP21-2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP21-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LGG and LIHC are the cancer types where KRTAP21-2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
