Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP20-1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KRTAP20-1 data layer compared with 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher KRTAP20-1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP20-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, CESC, and ESCA are the cancer types where KRTAP20-1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
