Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP19-8 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP19-8 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher KRTAP19-8 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP19-8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and LUAD show a favorable association.

BRCA, COAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where KRTAP19-8 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
