Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP19-7 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP19-7 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher KRTAP19-7 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP19-7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and LAML show a favorable association.

LUSC, STAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where KRTAP19-7 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
