Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP19-3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP19-3 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher KRTAP19-3 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP19-3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and SARC show a favorable association.

HNSC, STAD, and OV are the cancer types where KRTAP19-3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
