Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP19-2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP19-2 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher KRTAP19-2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP19-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, KIRC, and HNSC are the cancer types where KRTAP19-2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
