Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP15-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP15-1 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher KRTAP15-1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP15-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA show a favorable association.

LIHC, LUAD, and DLBC are the cancer types where KRTAP15-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
