Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP13-2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP13-2 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher KRTAP13-2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP13-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

MESO, COAD, and UVM are the cancer types where KRTAP13-2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
