Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP12-4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KRTAP12-4 data layer compared with 11 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher KRTAP12-4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP12-4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM show a favorable association.
UCEC and GBM are the cancer types where KRTAP12-4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
