Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP12-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP12-1 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher KRTAP12-1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP12-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and HNSC show a favorable association.

LUAD, ESCA, and BRCA are the cancer types where KRTAP12-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
