Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP12-1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KRTAP12-1 data layer compared with 14 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher KRTAP12-1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP12-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

LUSC, LUAD, and COAD are the cancer types where KRTAP12-1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
