Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP1-5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KRTAP1-5 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher KRTAP1-5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP1-5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD are the cancer types where KRTAP1-5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
